July 4, 2008We began our trip today. We left early in the morning because we had a long drive ahead of us. It took us around 11 hours to drive to Chicago. That night we saw fireworks for the Fourth of July. We stayed in a hotel right downtown, and the next day we explored the city. My mom and I had been to Chicago once before, but it was fun to see it with our whole family!
